David Ryder is a freelance photographer and writer from Seattle, Washington, USA. He graduated with a degree in the Comparative History of Ideas from the University of Washington, where he worked for the The UW Daily as a staff photographer and photo editor. His clients have included The Seattle Post-Intelligencer, Big Chilli Magazine (Bangkok), The Kirkland Courier-Reporter, and the University of Washington. David has travel experience on six continents, 25 countries, 40 states, and is fluent in Spanish.
